Unearthed Arcana, also called UA, refers to a series of PDFs released by Wizards of the Coast. Each contain various material intended for play-testing. After a while, polls are introduced so people may provide feedback. Depending on the responses given, the material may be published in future books, promoting it to official content status.

Given that UA is play-testing material, it is not always balanced and is never allowed in Adventurers League games. Always consult your Dungeon Master before using UA content in your campaigns.
